Active Isolated Stretching is a therapy that allows the body to prepare for daily activities while also allowing for the body to repair itself. This is commonly seen during sporting events on the sidelines and inside of locker rooms for professional athletes. Each stretch is applied for only two seconds at a time to avoid overstretching of the muscles. Overstretching of the muscles can lead to injury and other ailments when not don’t properly. Using the body’s natural physiology, it will improve circulation and increase elasticity of muscle joints and fascia.
